Need an EPC for Residential or Commercial Properties?

Kristian Latter is an accredited Energy Assessor working for Redwoods Estate and Letting Agents.  He has worked for Redwoods for several years, previously was the Manager of our Chineham & Tadley offices.  He has a wealth of property experience and knowledge.

Kristian is fully qualified to produce Energy Performance Certificates for both domestic and commercial properties and has now been producing Energy Performance Certificates for Redwoods’ clients since 2007.

If you want to sell or let your property, by law, you will need an Energy Performance Certificate.  This Certificate must be produced before your property can legally be marketed or rented out.  Whilst many Estate or Letting Agents offer this service, they normally sub-contract the work to someone else.

As Kristian is employed by Redwoods, we keep this work ‘in-house’ meaning we can offer a quicker service, typically getting an EPC produced and turned round within 48 hours – this means your house can be quickly offered to market, rather than having to wait for a sub-contractor to call you and fit you into their diary and return the EPC when completed.

The Certificate gives potential buyers or tenants an indication of the annual running costs for heat, hot water and lighting for the property, and enables them to compare one property with another.  Additionally, the Certificate shows the carbon emissions for the property and gives a series of recommendations – things than can be done to the property to reduce the running costs and carbon emissions, as well as giving an indication of what the annual savings could be.
